The 32-year-old Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough picked up the mirror ball trophy for the show’s 10th season. They’ve been the front-runners for a while now, and ended up scoring 115 points out of a total 120 from the judges. Scherzinger was over the moon after winning super reviews for their “Proud Mary” number. “I’m just so grateful! I’m just so flipping happy right now,” she said. “It’s such an awesome experience!”

Her competition, Evan Lysacek, nailed 108 points with his partner Anna Trebunskaya before viewer votes were tallied. He graciously told Tom Bergeron, “We’re so proud of Nicole and Derek!” Erin Andrews, the season’s third-place finisher, said: “This experience has meant everything to me. I have gone through hell the past year.”  Of course, Erin’s referring to the crazy business with the stalker and receiving death threats earlier this year. Of her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, she said: “He brought me back to life. He just did!” Chmerkovskiy very recently got pulled over by a police officer while zipping down  La Cienega. After a little smooth talking, the cop let him off without giving him a ticket. Why?  “Apparently, he’s a fan,” quipped Chmerkovskiy.
