Michael Jackson TV Dance Contest Planned
-

In bad taste or just a timely tribute? The BBC is apparently planning a new talent contest where wannabe dancers have to master Michael Jackson’s legendary stage moves to win. The show, tentatively named “Move Like ” will aim to find the UK’s most talented dancer, and producers are hoping to entice members of the Jackson family to be on the judging panel.
“People are so passionate about Michael it makes sense to build a talent show devoted to him and his incredible performances. And given that his family played such a huge part in his life, it makes sense for one of them to be a judge. Jermaine, Janet or LaToya would be brilliant,” a show source says.
While we’re not doubting that this program would be a great watch – especially since MJ was one of the world’s most incredible movers – but we can’t help thinking that the chances of this show airing if Michael Jackson hadn’t died are approximately zero. [Photo: Splash News Online]
