Lil Wayne And Young Money Announce Tour Dates

Weezy’s camp will hit the road starting Thursday in Texas.

Over the summer, they ignited stages on Young Money Presents: The America’s Most Wanted Music Festival. Now, Lil Wayne and his Young Money camp are going back on the road, just in time for the holidays.

On Wednesday (December 16), Weezy’s reps announced new tour dates for the musical family. The collective will hit the road Thursday and stay out until early January. The new tour has not been named yet.

On December 21, the We Are Young Money comp will be released. While Wayne’s Rebirth was also scheduled for that date, the album has been pushed back until February. During that same month, Wayne is scheduled to be sentenced to one year in prison for gun charges.

On Tuesday, a song from Rebirth, “Drop the World” featuring Eminem, hit the Web. Amazon.com accidentally shipped 500 copies of Rebirth early. Meanwhile, the year-end accolades keep pouring in for Wayne. In October, he made MTV News’ Hottest MCs in the Game list, and on Wednesday, he was named as #5 on the Man of the Year list.
