Timberlake and Morrison, whose album, When Everything Breaks Open, was produced by the former ‘NSYNC member, were among several artists, including Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow and Haitian artist Emeline Michel to perform in L.A. on behalf of the telethon.
This is not the first time Timberlake has lent his vocals to relief efforts. In 2005, following the catastrophic Indian Ocean tsunami, the 28-year-old performed “This Love” alongside Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine at a charity concert in L.A. organized by the Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am. Proceeds from the event went to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to support tsunami-relief efforts.
Like many celebrities, Timberlake has been reaching out via his Twitter account, encouraging fans to support the relief efforts in Haiti.
“Hallelujah,” along with the other “Hope for Haiti Now” performances will be available for purchase and download at the iTunes Store.
