Ashley Greene’s Lawyers Threaten Legal Action Over Nude Photos

Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty ImagesIt looks like “Twilight” star Ashley Greene is the latest starlet caught up in a nude-photo scandal. After Perez Hilton posted naked pictures that appeared to be of Greene, her rep stepped in and released a statement.
“The photos in question, which appear to be of our client, are illegal and are being unlawfully displayed,” her rep told MTV News in a statement Monday (August 10). “Our client intends to take legal action.”
Although the statement doesn’t confirm whether the photos are of Greene, they have since been taken off Perez Hilton’s Web site and replaced with the following statement: “The nude images have been removed from PerezHilton.com at the request of Greene’s attorneys.”
Greene made a splash at the Teen Choice Awards, where the “Twilight” crew won 11 awards. Greene was singled out as Choice Fresh Face Female and called her win “incredible.”
Before the photos hit the Web, everyone was talking about another picture of Greene apparently kissing “Gossip Girl” star Chace Crawford. TMZ reported that the pair had been hanging out for a while, but up until the picture, taken early Monday, had kept the relationship on the down low.
At the Teen Choice Awards, it was another starlet who was making all the headlines for her photo scandal, after comedian Dane Cook poked fun at Vanessa Hudgens for her photos leaked last week, as well as in 2007. “Girl, you gots to keep your clothes on!” he said during the show. “Phones are for phone calls, girl.”
