This minute-long Sears commercial aired during last night’s eventually-thrilling Steelers/Titans NFL opener last night, and as much as we’ve all ripped on Brett Favre the past couple offseasons (and seasons), I have to admit, as biting, subversive Sears ads go, it is pretty funny.

My friend Matt quickly wet-blanketed my enthusiasm, reminding me that it won’t be funny when we see it for the 850,000th time during NFL Week 2, but for the time being, I’ll give Favre a pass (into triple coverage):
